Eligible Trusts and Other Participating Entities may invest their assets with the SBI through the Non-Retirement Funds. Investments are governed by Minnesota Statutes applicable to the specific trust or entity.

Trusts and Other Participating Entities generally include designated trusts or funds and other state and public sector entities authorized to invest with the SBI that are not covered by Minnesota Statutes, sections 118A.09 or 471.6175

Investment Options

Trusts and Other Participating Entities may invest in three funds through the Non-Retirement Investment Program:

  • Non-Retirement Equity Fund
  • Non-Retirement Bond Fund
  • Non-Retirement Money Market Fund.

Investment Participation

Trusts and Other Participating Entities that wish to invest in the Non-Retirement Funds should:

  1. Review the Non-Retirement Funds Investment Prospectus, available on the Investment Prospectus page.

  2. Complete the required participation documents.
